• MBA / Masters in Statistics or Economics or Econometrics  (or) any  relevant degree/PG degree
• Knowledge of statistical techniques.
• Any IT certification particularly in Analytics area will be an added benefit though not mandatory.

EXPERIENCE:

• 7 to 10 years in Web analytics  (from Direct and Interactive Marketing Agencies)

• Managerial Experience – Should be experienced in managing teams applying web analytics, Best Practices for Tool Implementation, Tool selection and evaluation, Reports Configuration, Analysis Insights
• Experience in identifying KPIs for Websites, Web Marketing Campaigns and interpreting these KPIs leading to performance improvement of Websites and Web Marketing Campaigns

• Pre-sales experience – making business presentations, new business proposals, etc. preferred.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

• Tools familiarity:  Working experience in Omniture Site Catalyst, Web Trends, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, etc.  Proficiency in at-least one of these suites.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding clients’ business problems/issues and defining the web/data analytical approach to solve them.
• Responsible for final report delivery (execution and quality control).
• Client interface/management/ownership of client query resolution.
• Business/Analytics Insight generation.
• Support Pre-Sales department for lead generation activities.
• Contribution to RFP/RFQ/RFI/SLA/Project costing.
• Delivery management – Will be measured by customer feedback

INDUSTRY VERTICAL EXPOSURE:

• Banking/ Financial Services/ Insurance /Telecom/Retail/CPG are preferred.
• Knowledge in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Monitoring is an added advantage

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Project management capability – Experience in implementation of Tools preferred.
• Communication – Should be proficient in telephonic and email communication. Any exposure to international customers is preferred.
• Leadership – Team and peer feedback will drive the measure. This person to manage delivery effectively by delegating and measuring team outputs with key milestones.

• Executive Presence – This person will regularly be involved in pre-sales/sales activities. So executive presence as perceived by the top management will be a key success factor.
